Anyone who has a weakness for Italian food will love Da Franco! Cozy atmosphere, Italian family business, with warm and competent staff. Kudos to the chef, it was incredibly delicious! Always happy and a real recommendation!

Terrible service with average food! The card is quite small and simple, which is not the problem, but there are no allergens on the menu - which is mandatory since 2014. When my food arrived and I approached the demotivated waitress that things were being processed that I can not eat, but that was not described in the menu, I got a very bad reply a la: "WE'RE HERE IN THE ITALIAN, THERE MUST INVESTIGATING WITH IT WHAT IT IS TO SAY TO THE GUEST WHAT HE CAN NOT EAT! " I tried to explain to her what the law looks like and that, as a guest, I can not just list what I am not eating if there is no evidence of an allergen on the card - the wait staff had no answer. We just did not communicate in the same intellect. I got a new court that was not worth the money. Of course, there was no tip for such impudence. We will never come back with a clear conscience!

If you want to experience Italian cuisine then you are in the right place. For a good two years now we have been visiting the Da Franco in Wangen in the Allgäu on a regular basis and have always been happy and satisfied! The menu changes constantly, the food tastes great and the service is great. If you like the fine cuisine, is just right. Friendly ladies in the service and a talented chef behind them. The ambience and the location in the center of the city are beautiful.

We wanted after the weekly market visit and 30 ° C in the shade in the "Da Franco" drink something cool. But then have been rejected, as there is a drink only in connection with a meal order. I have never experienced so much arrogance in a restaurant. Incidentally, about two-thirds of the tables were still free. A restaurant with such a business behavior has lost nothing in the catering !!!

We have been there several times and it tasted good. The last visit was our last. We ordered two dishes from the lunch menu. One caused diarrhea after eating, the other was probably a reheated meal (the spinach was already brown, the burnt cheese crust was covered with new cheese). We will not be back for sure.

Hall together, I had lunch in the restaurant two days ago, I ordered a salad with salmon and a water of 0.5l. The normal salmon fillet, which is known from the retail trade, was cut sparingly into three (possibly four) parts and distributed on the plate, the salad mix was totally tasteless ... For this you asked 20.10 €, I was speechless .....

Unfriendly! We asked friendly for further dishes and we would be answered very unkindly: There is the menu out there - look better next time! We won't be back!

Great italian restaurant!

Was very disappointed, have read the good reviews and had been looking forward to the evening. Food was good, the ambience is nice (a bit sober ... is just a large room with tables in it). But why am I so disappointed? The service was a disaster for me. The service was so rude and you got the impression you are not welcome. I wanted a dessert (you did not ask for it after dinner) ... Then there was no card for ages, then we did not feel like it anymore. We shouted to the lady (who always passed by) that we would like to pay. A few minutes later, she came to the table and slammed the bill without a word on the table and went on. That was one of the few visits where I paid exactly € 47.30 and did not tip a dime. 2 stars only because of the food. We will definitely not come back ... sorry
